Experience the bold and distinctive flavours of our Red Bourbon coffee, grown in the rolling hills of Muyinga, northern Burundi. Cultivated at altitudes between 1500 and 1600 meters above sea level, this exceptional coffee is harvested by smallholder farmers and processed at the Karambo washing station, run by the innovative TIB Coffee, which was founded with the goal of transforming Burundi’s coffee industry.
This lot is processed using the anaerobic natural method, a unique fermentation process that results in a rich and complex cup profile. The anaerobic environment allows the coffee cherries to ferment in a way that highlights deep, vibrant fruit notes and a velvety smooth body. Expect a lively burst of passionfruit, subtle tropical fruit sweetness, and a finish that is creamy, juicy, and refreshing. The flavours are bold yet well-balanced, offering a truly exceptional experience in every sip.
